Me, Myself, and I
When life gets cold, you go ghost
When I tell you about yourself, you do the most
You’re quick to leave to get where everything is as cool and blue as the sea
But when you need something you come crying back to me
Like that time in Middle School
When you left me to do work because you thought that girl cas cute
Then you felt dirty when you found she was related to you
You said “D please if I fail this project I won’t know what to do”
So I gave you another chance, and then we restarted the cycle
You were supposed to pick me up from practice but instead you hanged out with my self proclaimed rival
You started to come up with excuses about why you can’t do this and why you can’t do that
Now we’ll pass by each other and you won’t even speak
Not a wave, a nod, or even a tip of the hat
In words of Tupac “You’re blowing in the wind like dust”
Its funny how the ones that are around, are the ones you can’t trust
Cutting you off like scissors to paper really is a must
So from now i’ll be my own best friend I’ll always be by my side and stick there till the end
I’ll think about the possibilities of running away and going into hiding
Just God, Me, Myself, and I on our own private island
