Me, Myself, And I

When I was young, things wern't the same

When I'd get introuble, others I'd blame

Now I'm older, I see that's not right

I take responsibility for my actions, with my goals in sight

I use to run around, joyful and carefree

Now, stress and duties are taking a toll on me

Before I'd ask Mom and Dad for a toy

Now I buy my own things, because I'm a big boy

As I look back I began to know

They've done everything in there power, struggles they didn't show

I'm grateful for who I am, and what I've become today

All due to the life lessons I learned along the way

From those I've observed and knew I didn't want to be

Gave opprotunities to find what is me.
