Me, Myself, and I

Waiting and waiting is all I seem to do

but, why is it so hard and all I do is shoo?

Shooing, pushing, avoiding.

Pushing people away that want to be close,

my doctor says I need another dose.

Medication I don't want to take,

all I want to do is be alone.

I'm happy with myself,

I don't want anybody else.

Enjoying my own time and doing what I want to do,

not having a man to answer to.

Seeing my best girl friends,

asking who needs a boyfriend?
