The Me Nobody Knows

I'm still alive but barely breathing

I try to hide hide all my problems behind this cheery spirit

What's actually behind it is a word of pain

You think you know me? Well guess what! You have no idea.

No idea on how I truly feel

Nobody knows. Not my family. Not my friends.

Nobody.

Shall I introduce myself?

I drown in fear of having the ones I truly love disappear.

I drown in pain because sad and lonely is whay I'll remain.

I drown in stress because I'm trying so hard to do my best.

I drown in frustration because I am always the one in isolation.

I am not the happy girl you take me to be.

I am not the awesome friend that everyone think they have.

I really am:

Miserable

Afraid

Lonely

Depressed

Insecure

Unhappy

Confused

Unloved

Tired

Scared

Emotional

I AM THE ME THAT NOBODY KNOWS!.*
