Me the Tree

Tree Yep that’s me I started small and unaspiring But each day I grow, I grow stronger and more outgoing Jesus is my sunshine and people are my water Teaching me Making me who I am Creating a more improved version Of the original me A me reaching for the sun, absorbing water A me forever changing My character starts to show with age The broken limbs and twisted branches But with pain, struggle, sun, water I went from shy sapling to outgoing tree I now speak And show the changing of the “seasons” So for many reasons A tree is me
