Me vs. Chemistry

Man, oh man, I hate chemistry

I was the king of the world

Until reality hit me

And this behemoth called chemistry

Slapped me around the face

10th grade was like a breeze

And chemistry’s a hurricane

My teacher was chill like ice

But chemistry was no easy feat

At times I was at the brink of defeat

Like the villain in a movie

He knows he’s gonna get beat

Man, oh man I always thought

Chemistry had it out on me

But I’m a straight A student

I can’t like this subject punk me out

I study for light years every night

I saw my D transform to a C

Then a B, then an A

I once hated chemistry

But now I slayed it like a knight slaying a dragon.
