From me... to you

This is not from the girl you knew

Not The girl who listened to every obey

Without a word of dismay

No longer The girl  who begged on her knees

The girl who just wanted you to stay

You never listened to my “no’s”

So scared, so confused, so I froze

Broken to pieces as the story goes

This is from the girl who learned to be strong

And realized everything you did wrong

You did things I never saw coming

If I did I would’ve been sent running

Goodbye to you

And to the love I once knew

The love in me grew

For me finally and never again for you
