Meadow
I watch the flowers grow,
The roses and the lilacs and the daisies.
The rain falls leaving the field smelling fresh.
The flowers look healthier,
A rainbow spreads across the sky,
The sun peaks through the clouds.
The flowers turn up smiling,
Welcoming the sun's warmth and comfort.
The night falls and the moon rises.
High in the sky it takes the sun's place.
The flowers turn down and go to sleep,
But now the fireflies come out to play.
