The Meadows
The ethereal princess
of her celestial dome,
afflicted by the malevolent villagers.
They seek her riddance,
and through loathing they shall
attempt to abase her from her heavens.
Weeping from their woe,
a modest knight appears.
Audacious man offering his shield.
He pledges a warriors oath
in service to a graceful princess.
Seldom he leave her side.
Together the princess and knight
deflected cynics,
to journey the stars.
Fifteen years of battling demonic humans,
ordered he be,
the knight must part.
The princess in the heavens
must learn to be without.
For she cannot bare the ungodly drought.
Alone she may seem,
but alone she may never be,
her knight still watches
from the meadows.
