Meaning

I write because all the twisted, dark thoughts don't go away

I write because nightmares still show up during the day

I write because my mouth doesn't want to budge

I write because paper doesn't ever judge

I write because, otherwise, I am invisible

I write because depression and I aren't divisible

I write because words are too sharp to hold in

I write because I've got too many unsaid sin

I write because its the only way to hear "me"

I write because, one day, I want someone else to see

I write because its the only way I know I'm alive

I write because its a way to survive

I write because I'm chaotic and unsteady

I write because I'm unprepared, never ready

I write because its better than having an anxiety attack

I write because its the only way to get my life back
