Meaning

My situation was grim

I felt as though I had lost purpose

I began searching the web for a solution to my problem

Twas’ an issue of money, which I needed for college

I discovered this scholarship of writing a poem

I started to brainstorm, testing my knowledge

Of structures and schemes and every word I had spoken

Then out of the blue

It occurred, quite sudden in fact,

I was wrong all along

Poems have no need for structure and laws

Poems can be fluid with no rhyme or reason

But poems do require one simple thing at the end of it all

Meaning.

Which can be found in anything

Whether it be large or small
