meaning

words are meaningless without emotion

symbols scratched in various ways to mean various things

but the fire behind them

the meaning of words is why i write

the fire that burns in the meaning

the ice in the accusations

words alone mean nothing and are lost in translation

but a face, an expression, a touch, an emotion

can say more than millions of words scattered across the universe

i write to express emotion

i am not constrained by rules in poetry

not ended by periods

not extended by hyphens

not bound between commas 

i write to express the emotions that cannot be captured in film

i write to express the unsaid words in conversation

i write to express who i am and what i feel
