The Meaning of Love
What is love?
Is it being there for each other?
Is it going against all odds to be together?
Is it physical attraction? Or spiritual attraction?
Is it destined or earned? Through fate or hard work?
Love should be tied with support
With lovers building each other up
With lovers accepting each other's differences
With lovers providing aid when needed
Love should be earned by overcoming hardships
With lovers settling things with small disputes
With lovers giving each other space when life is busy
With lovers providing silent reassurance
What started their story shouldn't matter
What matters is how they feel
It won't be filled with excitement
It won't be all fun and adventures
There will be insecurities
There will be anger and misunderstandings
But once these challenges are overcome
Their bond will be stronger than ever
There is no concrete definition of love
Each person has their own beliefs
But there should be general do's and don't's
And there should be respect among lovers
It'll start off as exciting
But it won't always be bright and cheery
Just know that just because the sparks are gone
Doesn't mean love is gone
