Why can something so simple move people miles?

No words can not move people. 

They simply go in the ear and are processed by the brain.

So why, can a word seam to move people?

The meaning.

What the word is made up of, 

Not the letters.

But the meaning.

What makes the word powerful is what it stands for.

Why is poetry strong?

Not because of words.

No words are little and insignificant.

It the purpose, the use, and the meaning of that word.

Meaning is power.
