Measure Life with the Love You Give

Because of you, my life is no longer in the shade.

It's as though I found something quite new.

I know that this is the love that shall never fade.

This is a feeling that is so bright, so true.

With you, I could spend every last minute.

Our love will always stand tall like a tree.

Our love touches the sky, it has no limit.

And whenever you ask I will set you free.

Your eyes are bright and burn like a fire,

the world turns cold when your eyes are closed.

When you welcome the morning, the birds sing in a choir,

they sing the songs Mother Nature composed.

Because I love you, I measure my life with the love I give,

and never with the number of days I live.
