Measurements
Last night we learned that love can be measure by your snot on my sweat shirt
I learned that 'never have I ever' opens the door to a new 'did'.
Drinking long island ice teas and vodka poisoned orange juice are not only natures truth serum, but the final drops the tip us over the edge
to tears
My love for you is measured by the phone calls to my cell telling me that you got home okay
It is the keys I hid so that you would have to stay
I love you so much, that as I stumble, I give you bread.
I made you coffee
and
made your bed.
I left ibuprofen and Tylenol (which you think works best) so that you don't wake up a mess
Our love is measured in visits back home to see you and drives to the market to get you bacon.
Love comes out when we are the weakest and one of us must be the strongest
My love is your best painting, it is your best short story.
It is the poster I made for your game and one you held up for mine.
We play, we laugh and we get so angry at the world.
One time when you said you thought someone would kill you for who you are,
it made me want to die in your place.
I want you to know that I picked the better half but love your other half the same.
You are not just simply the sum of your parts even though math is your best subject.
Our biology contains brains that we ourselves don't like but our hearts seem to know exactly what to do.
I want you to know that when i leave, when we leave, when you may be physically alone. You are not
We are never coming back. But I will never abandoned you; a piece of our soul.
Our love happens in Smokey cars. In steamy cars. In empty cars. And in cars where safety laws are broken.
Our love is dominant in the sun shine and prominent in rain. when we don't have a dime but enough to feel rich.
My friend, My love can not be accounted for in units
pounds, meters, or kilograms
Our love is in the feeling of when we are together, nothing can go wrong
and then
when they do
our love is found in not hesitating love again
