Mechanical Mayhem

A mechanical beast

                                                                                        Finds you in your sleep

 It begins its pursuit

                                      And you hide between

                               The                                     cracks

You move somewhere else to throw it off

But it finds you

You can run

You can hide

But it will find you

                                                           It always will

Finally

It gets to you

And you notice

This beast

This thing

This mechanical monstrosity

It really isn’t that different from you, is it?

Doesn’t it just want to be loved and cared for?

As do you?

Maybe you shouldn’t be so scared

And then

You wake up
