Medicine
I upped my medicine dose because I couldn’t deal with being sad. Those three letters. I wanted to be free from sadness. I am told that medicine won't fix me. I know I will be on it for some reason for years. Why wouldn’t I use it to numb my feelings? I get yelled at when I become myself. I am told that I am loud, crazy, annoying. The medicine doesn’t just heal the mind, it covers the scars on your soul.
