Meditate

Philippians 4:8           New English Translation

8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of respect, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if something is excellent or praiseworthy, think about these things.

Meditate on what is right and do such day and night

You don’t know how much time is left for you to understand

Deep within your heart, the purpose of virtues is written

So no excuse is justified on the way to the Promised Land

Where does meditation start? Why does it seem so simple?

To start thinking about what is true and what is just and pure?

Lovely things and what is good, possibly also the rotten

As the flesh and world is full of that, but all you need is to endure

Praise The Lord for what you have discovered in Christ Jesus

Thank Him for who you are and the Everlasting Life He provides

Life appears like a vapor, and so misery will not last forever

And when the day is done, it is all about the life when you arrive
