Medusa
Do you understand that I am not sacred nor a prize
A broken gift
Lost chances and misplaced opportunities
Forgotten truths turned to lies
Running tears filled a roaring river
Deafening sound turned numb
feeling forever frozen,
Medusas disappointed gaze
No last touch could revive me
Unless it grazed the heart
Through hard exterior, risk my destruction for a brighter second chance
