Medusa

It seems to be my fault when men turn away and leave me cold and alone.

Do I have to atone for something unkown to me? Tell me, what's the reason they all go?

Do they wish I could be bolder, or maybe a little bit colder, so my personality would align with my name?

Maybe they wish for a chase, for a little bit of a race so they can feel like they're entiled to me.

But my heart isn't there for you to tear at it and wear it down when you realize I easily fall.

How easy it'd be for us to be free.

But no. You'd rather ignore all my calls.
