Meet Me By The Sea

I saw you

Suddenly the hum of the ocean was quiet and I could only hear a muffled voice

Yours.

My eyes examined you through sun beams and crashing waves

I knew I needed to know you.

But I was bound by the scales below my waist.

You couldn't see me, but I was going to be your world

I just needed to fit into your world.

Temptation and manipulation came at the utmost perfect time.

My words would mean nothing because I had given them up for you.

With the new found freedom I was finally able to blend in.

Meet me by the sea.

Praying by some miracle you'll fall in love with my actions

I needed you to fall in love with my actions

With no words, I did the absolute best I could.

My eyes were begging you to love me.

Your love restored my words

It was almost too late

I was dragged back in

Meet me by the sea

Where my voice and actions may now touch your soul as one

Where my legs can carry my to your arms.

I asked you,

Meet me by the sea

I was ready to give my all to you

But the waves crashed and the sun beams faded

The hum of the ocean was quiet

I was there

I waited

But you just couldn't be there,

Meet me by the sea
