The Meeting

What a strange story that I will tell you of a young women on her way to finally meet the man who she believed threw her away forcing her to live from home to home with the very strange people.  Her thoughts a jumble of questions and doubts as she drives around the area trying to find this crooked little house that was no bigger than a shack. She suddenly became afraid as she pondered to herself should I turn around and just forget it. Maybe my life was better moving from family member to family member. The little shack barely standing up without any smoke coming from the chimney on the side of the rusted tin roof. She shakes with nervous and fear. She thinks to herself I have come all this way I have to do this. She walks up the yard since there is no path that she can see as she reaches the door she hesitates as she hears a loud hacking sound from beyond the petrified wood door barely on its hinges. Her hand shaking as she knocks slightly afraid of breaking the cracked and scared wood. the smell of sulfur and rotten meat filling her senses while she waits.
