At the Meeting Place

At the meeting place
Sitting and waiting
Walking and pacing
Stomach in a knotted lace

At the meeting place
Looking and watching
Wondering and questioning
Heart ready to chase

At the meeting place
Looking for a lover
Patient and loyal
Feelings already replaced

At the meeting place
Still holding to hope
For someone the heart can chase

TheGentlemanPoet

I am 20 years old and I am short with reddish brown hair. I love to write and read poetry and its always been a passion for me. I express how I feel through my words and really this is the only way I can. (Just a little note, I had a previous account that I deleted so a lot of my poems might be recognized by some of you.)
