Operation Christmas Child

Christian organisation that assists suffering people around the world

Helping people in need

I pray that every child that receives a shoe box knows they are

Loved

Donate and help suffering kids that come home to an empty plate

I chose to do Operation Christmas Child as a poem subject because they are a great Christian organisation that send kids all over the world that are in need shoe boxes that are filled with lots of different goodies. When the kids receive the shoe boxes their faces light up with joy because most of them have never had a Christmas present in the life. OCC (Operation Christmas Child) is a delightful charity that asks people to buy different toys, books, clothes and shoes that then get packed into shoe boxes and sent all around the world to kids less fortunate. I chose to do OCC because when I am older I want to travel to third world countries and help little kids in need. I plan on providing food and fresh water for the little kids and seeing how they live their everyday lives and how it’s different to ours.
