Megadrought


The  faucet whispers

soon the

well will be

emptying  

 

no matter

 

how

often

i try 

to pump

cabled cabinet

futile for

the acquiffer 

is dry

such is

the cycle

of Kansas

praery grass

        wheat 

       and then 

just          sand dunes
