Melody

The rain lightly sprinkled their faces-

two girls (one with a Y chromosome).

Hands being held under the dark blue evening sky.

Street lights barely illuminate

the long and winding River Road.

Fields, small trees, and buildings.

A rainly fall night.

The two of them together temporarily.

I used to have an account under the name "The Frozen Arsonist" when I was a teenager and just wanted to start over, but you can check that out if you want to see earlier content
