Melody of Life
And the melody finally reaches my ears
Those which have been assaulted by lies
Configured fears.
And the notes
The lilts
The passion
Comfort, liven, hearten.
My guarded heart opens.
The notes fly on,
Filling me up with the blissful, radiant song.
Like rays of light bathing the shore,
Warming the cool sand, the frigid deep.
And I am alive,
If just in that moment.
