A melody for you

Set a melody in my heart

To sing only for You

Let the harmonies of all nations arise

Just for You, Lord.

He who holds the universe in its place

Holds my heart tonight.

He who makes the heart beat

Tunes the song in my heart

To sing just for Him tonight.

I’m lost without His light

Lighting my way down this path of life

Lord, bring me out of this darkness

Lead me back into Your arms.

Don’t let my song for You fade

Or my fire for You die out.

Let my song be tuned with Your grace and mercy

And my fire burn with gratitude and passion

For You forever and for always.
