to melt within and without

what scares me about you is me.

when i am with you, all i want is to sleep.

lay with you in my arms

as we drift between you and i.

like a tree exchanging breath with

the earth who listens so silently

to her quiet shifting as the soil

struggles to find his place.

i would like you to rest

my, your

fingers on who’s heart and

i think your head fits quite well on

my chest in that i see much of

myself in you. not in that we

are the same, but in that we

are not. i think it is that we

feel much of the same. to have you

is the quiet reverie of a holiday’s sunrise

in all of it’s forms.
