Meltdown

We swore before we would unlock the door

He can't find the words to speak

Needing a hand and wanting nothing else more

As he sits behind eyes red and sore

Afraid of the world but his head holds his fears

Fears that feed on the weak

Looking to light and seeing nothing but tears

He screams at the face in the mirror
