Melting 6

Mold and melt

An endless cycle.

Lashes to wind.

Tag along

I need not a hand to hold,

oxygen to inhale

Thoughts to exhale,

And a lonely spirit to release

Out through my nose.

The holy lungs

Inflating on birthdays

needled by the ungrateful.

Smoking’s not a reliever

But a ritual

People can abuse anything,

Draining like the new year

A teardrop on my pillow

A raindrop reversed

As soon as hit the air.

A girl who went into a mess

And left a tree-

The giving tree-

And faded to a flower.
