Melting Memories

My head is pounding,

my mind wrapped in worry.

Ticks on my insane memory.

Ducks flock in the shape V.

Why does my mind breathe so heavy?

Wound up in sugar and dreams,

I sleep on the frozen suns rays.

Younger than the last wolf who dances,

The bonfire burning, growing.

Melts the moon and her glowing.

Father keeps me in the corner,

I feel alone, restrained.

Tock! wheezes the clock,

as the coo-coo springs.

Forgotten why I was so confused.
