MeMe's Lyric

MeMe’s Lyric

Untold pain

yet there were smiles with joy

who knew?

no one saw what was true

All the time the spent, but the signs....

the signs weren't there

How could it be?

could we not see clearly?

When all there was were laughter and anticipation

Words to an unknown song

Singing the lyrics all wrong

Millions of things were here

the signs...

The signs were right here

In the pit of it all

All along

Longing for you

You can always be seen

Seen as something your not

not knowing has to be crazy

crazy as it seems

Seems like yesterday it was reality

Reality soon became a dream.

This poem is about one of my bestfriends that commited suicide in 2013. she was 14 years old and only a freshman who was really happy and had no problems that i knew about. Then one day she just didnt show up to school. My other friends and I called around the world to look for her when her mom called my friends mother to share the news with us. Now that time has passed i can share that it doesnt matter how a person may seem they can still be depressed or even if they arent depressed they can still commit suicide. MeMe was a very happy child who got what she wanted, sometimes its just their time to go.
