MEMOIR #1

MEMOIR #1

As I walk around with this bustling figures

The door clinks as a man came through

I halt my steps and looked at the stranger

My heart skips a beat as I found you

I stand astound there gaping the view

Those green eyes mesmerized the unwanted blue

As if you’re the root, everything filled with hue

I saw stars in me, you just saved me from the rue

A beautiful art from the heaven’s above

Those plump crimson lips, artful freckles in your cheeks

An art of pluperfect dream to be loved

The moment I saw you, my heart taciturnly speaks

How I want to touch the softness of your hair,

I couldn’t help myself grin at thought of that

Your chiseled face became aware

That a woman had been staring at

Ashamed of myself, I lowered my flushed face

To see me at the state of chagrin

How I want to swoon right there, at the place

Where I barely recall my lopsided grin

A glimpse of you can make my day sheen

In the corner of my eyes, your severity tells

How golden to love you at the age of eighteen

Till me and you with the church’s jingling bells
