Memories

Sky so blue, Clouds so grey, Grass so green, It lifts and sways. A perfect moment, Meant to last, Always just within your grasp. Flowers dance, Water swirls, Butterflies soar in beautiful twirls. Colors change, The sky goes black, You realize that it doesn't last. A place you know, Becomes a place you knew, And maybe some dreams, Aren't meant to come true. Birds will sing, Trees will grow, A wondrous story, Will stay untold.
