Memories

Daydreams that are

long since passed

Slipped through my fingers

When they stopped making sense

Old memories

On the tip of my tongue

It's hard to hold

Onto something so young

And when nostalgia

Tastes bitter

It's time to let go

Let your thoughts wander

And let your enemies know
