Memories

Since you ask, most days I cannot remember. I walk in my clothing out at the beach, unmarked by that voyage, suffering from my past mistakes. I wouldn’t call them memories or a moment that was memorable in my life just past mistakes left behind. I’ve heard the words that symbolize “memories”, but I don’t believe in something in the past that you think about daily. I think people just call past mistakes memories just to hide the truth from reality and make it sound meaningful with a deep meaning behind it. Memories sound like the words that terrify me but slowly start to unravel when I open pages of a book and feel the air swishing in my face that's when I start to feel a sense of closure that keeps me on my toes and how nothing can stop me from reading about memories and POVs made by fictional characters. Books make memories sound as reality has opened a different portal to each world that has been lived on, Memories in real life though sound like someone making excuses to pretend things don’t have a necessary purpose. Drawn in outer space on a ceiling of night, I think about the words used in poetry, books and letters the true meaning behind them the words that explain how someone feels without showing it I would like that I want memories to be like that and haunt me in the best way possible.
