Memories

The memory of that first kiss

The touch of your flesh on mine

Your hands caressing my curves

Fingertips tracing my back

I begged you not to stop

Begged you not to go

These memories bring me to my knees

Laying behind me holding me tight

Kissing my skin every night

The look in your eyes

The smile on your lips

I always hungered for this

Such great memories of bliss

Thinking of how your touch felt

Your lips burning mine

Kisses filled with passion so divine

Making me want more

Making me feel like I was your whore

I craved you like you were a drug

Addicted to what felt like love

You fed me your flesh

I fed you mine

Our bodies always intertwined

The world around us disappeared

For those moments you were near

On the bed, in the shower or under the stars

Now those memories feel so far away

So I sit here alone listening to those songs

The ones that you always played

Laying back closing my eyes

Watching the scenes play by

Remembering those moments in time

Wishing I had them back

As the memories dance around

I can feel your touch and your kiss again

How you made me feel when you slid deep within

My flesh burning like fire

Filling me with so much desire

Till I can’t take anymore

Slowly I lock my door

I let the memories take over me

As I trace my fingers over my body

Remembering your touch, your eyes and smile

Remembering everything you made me feel inside

Love, Passion, Lust and more

Even now I am your little whore

So I sit and dream awhile

I never want to forget your smile

I want to hang on to it all

As I continue to slowly fall

Those moments play like a song

Holding me all night long

I am a writer, blogger and poet. I enjoy writing and do so when the mood strikes me. I have been known to stop what I am doing to jot down a poem. There are days when the words flow from my mind like water. I am also a parent to 3 amazing young men. I am married to an amazing man as well. We rang in the new year as newly weds. Each year we celebrate our anniversary as we close another chapter in the book of life.
