Memories
Two covers bound
with silver ties
holding between them the sighs
of days gone by.
Brightly inked pages
each a window into a different face
moments captured and frozen in time.
Curling letters
scrawled in passing
identifying each individual recognized within.
A year has passed now
yet time stands still
within the two bound covers.
