Memories

Words are simply hard to find,

And the harder you try the more lost

Your memories are.

You can search your mind

Only to fail

Its as if in that moment

You have forgotten how to speak,

And how to read

You can oil down your thoughts

Hoping to ignite a spark,

And idea

A simple word,

But there is no such word.

The mind has failed you,

Your brain

A mush of forgotten moments.

The past forgotten.

Memories hidden in a lock

There's no code

For you have forgotten even

The simplist of things.

Alone in your brain

Nothing to think

And nothing to say.
