Memories

All of the pain comes flooding back As my memories attack Angry tears fall from my eyes As I hear your distant cries What did I do to deserve this? Yearning for death's sweet kiss To rest on my lips forever more Out of my chest my heart you tore Just a distant memory Just a distant dream Just a ghost lurking in my shadows Sucking the life out of me Leaving me hopeless All alone and unable to speak Killing me slowly from the inside out Heavy darkness pulling me down I'm drowning in my river of pain Please help me Erase my pain and doubt Erase my memories Make them go away Please I'm begging you Make them go away
