Memories

Philippians 4:12         New English Translation

12 I have experienced times of need and times of abundance. In any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of contentment, whether I go satisfied or hungry, have plenty or nothing.

Memories

I guess when you get older, memories are people.

Seldom really places, and that is why it is so strange

That folks are escaping to places they never saw

While they carry others with them, a form of deranged.

Maybe that is why in the world’s activity today.

People are escaping from their own misunderstood self

They are not like the picture that their life is showing

Trying to escape from a disliked reality from their very self

Illusionary constant the traveling in mind and dreams

Some will take some substance as others grind in judgment

Oh, brother! What a world, some peace, but mostly turmoil

Material expectations and seldom a hunger for contentment
