Memories
Memories are treasures more precious than gold.
Sweet, cherished moments to have and to hold...
Seasons may change as the earth rounds the sun,
but here in my heart memories can’t be undone...
I wish I could turn back the hands of time,
to the moments most treasured with your hand in mine...
But time changes everything. Life moves us on.
Now I only have memories. Those moments are gone...
So whenever I’m lonely, I reach deep in my heart,
and relive those moments before we had to part.
