Memories

Things that lurk within my head,

Hiding until they they come out instead,

Watching in the shadows,

Until out comes the dread.

Always in there hopelessly trying,

Seek it out without lying,

Friendly, slowly, come to find me.

Loved as always but still crying.

Outside in and inside out,

Loved always there is no doubt,

The day has come to see the truth,

A hero who has all the clout.

The time is near, what will you find?

Things that lurk within my head,

Hiding until they they come out instead,

Watching in the shadows,

Until out comes the dread.

Always in there hopelessly trying,

Seek it out without lying,

Friendly, slowly, come to find me.

Loved as always but still crying.

Outside in and inside out,

Loved always there is no doubt,

The day has come to see the truth,

A hero who has all the clout.

The time is near, what will you find?
