Memories
As I walk through the door,
nothing but childhood memories hit the floor,
calling me back to where I once stood,
happy and understood.
As I am waiting for reality to hit,
something in me made a slight click.
I am happy with the reality I am in,
even knowing things will never be the same,
as they have been.
