Memories

So many memories we left behind Of you and me spending all of our time Oh what I would do to have it all back My wishing could never get that Friendship, caring, generosity, trust Kisses that we could not resist at all What grew into love came crumbling down We detached what were once equal feelings Taking for granted what we both had, had By that we had to let it all of it go To find and grow in a worthy true love So sad all along you were never mine And still I say my wishes don’t come true But forever my wish is always you
