Memories

Memories.

Drown you like tidal waves.

Crash and swell.

Rage and throb.

Pounding--a headache. A migraine.

Behind closed eyelids, the pictures play out.

Flash and flicker.

Moving in slow motion.

A candle illuminating light in complete darkness.

Memories of me.

Of you.

Of us.

Everything.

Painful, yet unforgettable moments.
