Memories

As I walk through MC halls, I remember the times I've had.

I'll have these memories forever, the good and the bad.

Artwoork done by fellow classmates hangs beautiful on the walls.

Ceiling tiles, self portraits from painting, and things written on bathroom stalls.

Lockers decorated with active achievements; FFA, Life Gurading, Chorus, Band, galore!

A love note is crinkled and thrown on the floor.

We ran these halls to get ready for the season.

We worked hard to be as successful as we were for a reason.

"This is my sanctuary," I said in the gym everytime I went.

Every game I played my heart raced with excitement.

SWARM was amazing. So much support at each game!

Home games and away, the other cheer sections were lame.

The locker rooms -- oh, the good times and bad.

The few losses and many wins we had.

Every teacher was wonderful and helpful to me.

Even the homework they gave, whether it was hard or easy!

Even when i"m long gone away from here,

I will never forget how MC had such cheer.
