Memories
It was from Tennessee
We had gone twice that year
Not really summer clothing
A green Adidas hoodie
But it was the summer so it was much more affordable
I remember letting her wear it on our first date
A haunted trail
We were both horrified to walk along it
She wasn’t dressed appropriately
As no girl is
She had to be cute
And she was cute
I let her wear it
Like any good boyfriend would
It’s so comfy
I remember her saying
Everything was new just like that hoodie
But just like that hoodie
Things faded
